I am not a user of social media until my cousin wanted to gain TikTok bucks. This is how I discovered your product. I watched your demonstrations on your own hair and saw another influencer review. I was still skeptical, but I had reached a point where I needed a ‘one-stop shop’ for my daughter’s thick 4C hair.
She is a tween and has grown tired of braids. I have a perm and don’t know how to take care of natural hair. I’ve purchased and tried so many products for her hair. With my current single-mom and college-student budget, I had no choice but to learn how to care for her hair myself. I watched your advertising on TikTok, prayed, and then decided to purchase the product during your snow day sale after watching it a few more times. My daughter asked me why I purchased the complete care package, in case it didn’t work (she was skeptical). I wanted to approach it with an understanding, after seeing your demonstrations, that it was going to work—along with a little bit of prayer.
I am not disappointed! I waited until I got her hair trimmed because I wanted us to be on the same schedule. I watched your video on how to use the product, then numbered them to ensure I was following your steps. I love the lather, shine, and moisture your product provides for her hair. What shocked us both was that I was able to shampoo her hair for the first time, combing it without it getting stuck due to tangles. This was the first time there was minimal hair loss. I deep-conditioned following your instructions. I may have gotten heavy-handed with the serum and moisturizer, but I used them together as instructed on the bottle. Another first was that I was able to run my fingers through her hair, detangling it with ease. I can’t tell you how many times I got frustrated detangling her hair with products that claimed to help with detangling—plus the Unbrush that everybody raves about. Oh, the Unbrush works, but only in small sections. I didn’t have to work in small sections with her hair, and there was very little hair loss. There was definition that we both noticed while applying the serum. I braided her hair, hoping it would dry without a blow-dryer. It wasn’t dry, so I had to rush and blow-dry it. I was shocked once again by how the comb of the blow-dryer went through her hair without getting stuck.
I am so pleased with these products. We don’t like the smell of the oil, but as long as it does what it’s supposed to do, we’re good.
I have a couple of questions:
Does the serum and moisturizer have to be used together?
How or when do I use the balm?
Is the serum considered a heat protectant? If not, does one of your products act as one, or will you consider developing one?
Can you update your video to specifically show how to use the complete set? It would be nice to have a picture of the product in the corner. I’ve watched it several times, but I didn’t see when or where in the process to use the oil. I liked your blooper.
Can you share where to order and purchase the shower cap you used?
Can the moisturizer be used at any time?
Can the serum be used at any time, or only after washing?
Do the products work on locked hair?
I read the instructions on the back of the products. Many of them say to use on wet or damp hair. I interpret that to mean after washing. I’ve learned that the only way to avoid assuming is to ask for clarification.
I know this was long. I hate that I didn’t take before and after pictures. If you have a phone number or Zoom, I would love to speak with you. If you prefer neither, please email me because I’m staying off TikTok for a while. Either way, I have found my ‘one-stop shop’. I am giving away all the other products.
